Great comforter. Disappointing shams and bedskirt!

The comforter looks great in my southwest decorated home. I love the texture and colors of the fabric. But then BAM! the shams and bedskirt fabric is shiny and contemporary! It's like they don't really go together. Real Southwest is NOT shiny. I will be making my own shams.
